If you reserve a flight
based on availability of the NIH shuttle
and appointment times
in the phlebotomy lab
chances are
you will have to rise earlier than humanly possible
on the morning of your departure.
And chances are that your
sweet smiling,
book reading,
peace loving,
deep thinking,
soft talking
son,
upon hearing the proposed rising hour,
will suddenly become
indignant.

That brought a smile to my face. I can just imagine what it might be like to have to get out of bed at some ungodly hour to catch a flight. I think it would make me indignant too! I hope you make/made the flight and that all goes well.
