Everyone should be blessed with a son like Steven.
Steven ventured out on his own this New Years Eve, leaving the family celebration after 10 p.m.
I asked what time he would be home.
Dale was freaking out.
I reminded Steven that we trust him to not drink.
Dale was still freaking out and starting to show signs of perspiration.
And I reminded him to be so, so cautious while driving on this very dangerous night.
Dale was freaking out, sweating like a pig and opening another another beer.
But I knew that there is time to trust and let go.

Safely.
within minutes of the time that he had promised,
On time.
and he learned to dance to salsa.
Sober.
We're very blessed.
Everyone should have the privilege of loving a "Steven."

A hug to Steven :-)
Dancing and partying doesn't have to mean drunk. I am glad to know Steven enjoys life as a celebration of spirit.
It sure takes the fear away knowing our children are not dangering themselves!
Brag baby brag!!!
I don't want my babies to grow up :)
