Tonight was the senior award ceremony at Steven's high school.
That means that in a few short days he will be receiving his senior yearbook, attending a NHS banquet, taking his last-ever AP exams, having a feast at the senior luncheon, and then...
graduating!
Steven received a very special scholarship tonight. It is the sort of scholarship that is much more imbued with honor than money. The scholarship is given in honor of a teacher fallen by cancer. I'm not sure of the criterion for the award, but I'd like to think that it has something to do with bravery and perseverence.
