Giving Thanks

And Getting More

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, and confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow." Melody Beattie

Our Story of Gratitude

We have learned, over the past couple of years, that every moment of every day is a treasure, a gift.

Every moment.

Every day.

And because every this gift is given again every day, each and every moment is inherently filled with wonders to be thankful for.

Every moment.

Every day.

And we have come to appreciate the pleasures that surround us every moment of every day.

Every moment.

Every day.

For the warm beds and sturdy dwellings,
we are thankful.

For smiling faces and sweet words,
we are thankful.

For our abundance of food,
we are thankful..

For three wonderful, interesting and somewhat feisty children,
we are thankful..

For the times spent with family and friends,
we are thankful..

But we have realized that obstacles and difficulties provide a new level of gratefulness every moment of every day.

Every moment.

Every day.

For great nurses and great doctors,
we are thankful.

For the every improving technology,
we are thankful.

For Building 10 and the brilliant minds within,
we are thankful.

For the ability to accept,
we are thankful.

For learning the depth of our mettle,
we are thankful.

For the privilege of walking this difficult journey with our son,
we are thankful.

For Steven's unending grace,
we are thankful.

Every moment of every day we find something to be thankful for.

"For thankfulness leads to
Joy.
And joy leads to
Hope.

Hope is all we need.

Hope is
Enough."
