With an emphasis on "Living"!
What a comfort, a soothing balm, to see that not only is Steven coping with the first semester of college, but he is also thriving in the college atmosphere.
And not only is Steven successfully navigating that first semester of new friends, dorm life and cafeterias, but he is also pulling fantastic grades! What a comfort, a soothing balm, to see that not only is Steven coping with the first semester of college, but he is also thriving in the college atmosphere.
But his brother still misses him greatly.
As does his dad.
As do I.

What joy is found in our children's happiness! To see them blazing a trail of goodness, to see them walking towards their future with courage and hope.

WoW! Congrats to Steven's success! I got your comment on my blog and came for a visit...my daughter is in her 3rd year of college and is a cancer survivor...at one point we did not think she would make it out of high school! I wish the same for your son.
I am in the process of creating a blog for my classroom...it is always nice to meet a fellow teacher and share "coping" techniques!
